Now available: Large selection of BMW R 1250 GS accessories
BMW has further revised the two top sellers R 1250 GS in the basic version and the Adventure version. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the GS, BMW is releasing both models in the special black and yellow finish and also in the Rallye style. We had the Rallye Edition in our workshop and adapted all existing accessories to the new 2021 models.
Since there were no changes in the design of the motorcycles, we were able to assign all existing products to the 2021 models as well.
Accessories for the BMW R 1250 GS from SW-MOTECH
The detachable PRO side carriers from SW-MOTECH are absolutely suitable for long-distance travel and can be combined with TRAX ADV aluminum side cases, SysBag30 bags or AERO ABS side cases. Supplemented by an ADVENTURE-RACK luggage rack and a tank bag with the new PRO tank ring, no storage space requirements remain unfulfilled. Our range also includes crash bars, crash pads, an engine guard and other protective parts such as hand protectors. EVO footrests, foot brake lever extensions, gear levers, handlebar risers or handlebar relocations and TRAVELLER comfort cushions offer more riding comfort on long tours. A GPS holder developed exclusively for the big GS is also available.
PRO side carrier for motorcycle cases and bags
The PRO side carrier is the new generation of our first removable side carrier. Offroad fans will be thrilled. The model-specific PRO side carrier made of 2.5 mm thick steel is extremely strong and gives TRAX aluminum cases, AERO ABS side cases and SysBag 30 bags with adapter plate a secure hold. Adapter kits are also available for cases from other manufacturers.
BMW R 1250 GS / Style Rally ADVENTURE-RACK luggage rack
The ADVENTURE-RACK convinces with its extreme load capacity and function-oriented shape. The model-specific mounting elements guarantee the best fit and easy installation on original mounting points. The ADVENTURE-RACK can be mounted either directly on the original rear or, in combination with a lowering kit, without the original carrier. This offers the advantage that the center of gravity of the luggage is shifted downwards. In addition, we also offer a reinforcement kit to stabilize the original BMW luggage rack. We also recommend this reinforcement kit if the ADVENTURE-RACK luggage rack is mounted without a lowering kit - i.e. directly on the original BMW luggage rack.
Which PRO tank bag fits the GS?
The name says it all. The PRO GS tank bag was developed specifically for the BMW R 1200 GS and optimized for the tank shape. It also cuts a fine figure on the two new 1250 GSs. With a volume of 16 liters, it offers sufficient storage space for a water bottle, wallet, cell phone and even a change of clothes. The volume can be expanded to 20 l via a zipper if required. But also a variety of smaller tank bags like the PRO City (11 - 14 l), the PRO Daypack (5 - 8 l) and the PRO Micro (3 - 5 l) are available.
Crash bars: protection for engine and fairing
Those who love their boxer treat their R 1250 GS to an extra portion of protection. The SW-MOTECH crash bar is mounted on load-bearing frame points and can be combined with an upper crash bar that primarily protects the fairing. The crash bars are available in black coated tubular steel or a stainless steel version.
Engine guard - designed for maximum ground clearance
The particularly sturdy design of the engine guard with a wall thickness of five millimeters offers the best protection for valuable components of the BMW R 1250 GS even off the road. Three mounting elements distribute the force evenly over the strong attachment points and also make mounting much easier.
Continuously adjustable gear lever for the R 1250 GS
Milled from high-quality aluminum alloy, the gear lever for the R1250GS can be infinitely adjusted to find the optimum shift position. The spring mechanism allows the step to fold in and protects against breakage in the event of a fall.
Extension for brake pedals
SW-MOTECH manufactures this extension for brake pedals from milled aluminum to fit the original foot brake lever of the R1250GS and Rallye. For optimal adaptation to ergonomics, the increase of the brake lever can be adjusted in two stages of 22 or 27 millimeters. Through the better control of the rear brake, it is so ideal for off-road riding.
