A side stand is more than a parking aid – it is an essential component for stability and safety whenever the motorcycle is stopped. On asphalt, gravel, or softer ground, a high-quality side stand helps prevent the bike from tipping over and protects it from damage. SW-MOTECH develops rugged steel or aluminum solutions that are tailored to specific motorcycle models and integrate cleanly with the bike’s design.
Length, angle, and mounting point must match the respective motorcycle. Depending on the model, the side stand may be designed for installation on its own or in combination with a center stand. Existing accessories and the intended vehicle height must be considered when selecting the part.
For more stable parking on soft or uneven ground, a bike-specific side stand foot extension can be added. It must be selected to match the shape of the existing stand foot.
