Always Powered on the Road
Whether you use a GPS device, smartphone, or headset, touring depends on reliable power. Modern motorcycles therefore need charging solutions that can withstand weather and vibration. From compact USB chargers and conventional DIN sockets to permanently wired power kits, SW-MOTECH offers rugged systems developed for use on two wheels. They integrate discreetly into the cockpit, at the handlebar, or directly at the battery and keep devices ready for use in the city, on long country roads, or off-road. Cable routing in compatible tank bags can turn the luggage setup into a protected mobile charging point for a smartphone, camera, or power bank while riding.
Adapters connect directly to the motorcycle battery and supply power to a smartphone or navigation device on the road. Cigarette-lighter or automotive sockets can be combined with USB charging ports so that standard device cables can be used.
The Universal Electric Kit contains the components required to connect a splash-proof cigarette-lighter socket to the motorcycle electrical system. Using the included mounting brackets, the socket can be installed at the handlebar mount or fairing; a USB adapter is also included. The installation point should remain accessible without interfering with steering. When planning the setup, it is useful to consider the charging connection, cable routing, and a suitable mount from Navigation together.
