The PEAX heat shield protects the underside of the holster from excessive heat exposure on motorcycles where the PEAX Rackless system is located close to the exhaust. The heat shield is made of high-temperature-resistant silicone, is attached directly to the exhaust and reduces heat transfer to the luggage system above it.
