Looking for the best tail bag for your next motorcycle ride? Whether you're out for a day ride or going on a run that includes camping, we have the right duffel or sissy-bar bag for you.
The Legend Gear luggage line is ready for your Thursday night meetup or that big Sturgis tour. Choose between full-size horseshoe-shaped bags, convenient tail bags or duffels; each ready to add extras like tool bags, MOLLE pouches or bottle holders for a custom setup for your specific riding needs. Each bag is tested for fit on your specific motorcycle eliminating the guesswork on whether it's going to work on your bike or not.
Modern Functionality. Classic Style.
Updated for 2025, the all-black Eco-Tech material is tough, UV resistant and has a soft cotton-canvas feel. Built to last over the long haul.
Not only does Legend Gear hold up, it looks good doing it. You can outfit your whole bike from tank bag to tail bag with a stylish, matching system that looks great on any type of bike.
Different Legend Gear components aren't just designed to look good together. They work. And with MOLLE throughout, the possibilities are endless.
Legend Gear tail bags haven't just been updated with new materials, they also have interior contrast colors to help you see—and find—your stuff neatly organized into zippered and mesh pockets. We've made it easier to get into the outer side pockets and even repositioned the carry handles to help adjust and carry the bags. An interior roll-top dry bag keeps everything completely dry.
Start with a tail bag and build out a full system as you go. Legend Gear is modular and flexible.
New for 2025
At 18 liters, the all-new Legend Gear Tail Bag LR4 fills a perfect size niche in the Legend Gear lineup. The LR4 fits well with most types of bikes and can be mounted on the passenger seat or a rear rack. It also includes stashable straps for attaching to a sissy-bar and its width doesn't interfere with the top-loading Legend Gear LC1/2 or LH saddlebag systems. It features a vertical expansion zipper to provide up to 25 liters of capacity and the same double-lid enclosure as it's bigger sibling, the LR5.
New for 2025
The LR5 tail bag offers 52 liters of capacity, up from 48 liters of the LR2 it replaces. New features include the contrast interior color, double lids with zippered and mesh pockets for excellent organization out on the road. Two large pockets allow quick access from either end of the bike. A non-slip bottom, interior waterproof liner bag and MOLLE panels for attaching extras round out the features of this versatile and capable horseshoe-shaped tail bag. Adding the matching Shoulder Strap LA12 (sold separately) makes the LR5 a convenient grab-and-go bag for campsites, cabins or hotels at the end of the day.

The Legend Gear tail bag is the best luggage for your next ride. There's something to be said for putting all of your stuff in a bag on the back of your motorcycle. But that doesn't mean you don't want to level-up from a duffel with an unreliable bungee cord. Luggage that keeps it simple but is still designed specifically for motorcycles and tested to fit on your exact bike is invaluable.
