From rugged aluminum engine guards and sturdy crash bars to handguards, lever guards, and windscreens, every component is developed for a precise fit, manufactured accurately, and integrated discreetly into the motorcycle’s design. Bike-specific development, durable materials, and German engineering provide reliable function and a clean appearance. Whether selected individually or as a complete protection package, SW-MOTECH components are designed for touring, changing weather, and varied terrain.
Different components can be protected depending on the motorcycle model. Steel or stainless-steel crash bars shield the tank, fairing, and other components. They are developed specifically for each model so that fit, ground clearance, and cornering clearance are maintained. Slider sets made from abrasion-resistant polyamide use their shape and sliding properties to help reduce damage in a fall.
An engine guard or belly pan covers particularly exposed components in the lower section of the motorcycle. KOBRA and Barkbusters handguards are available in different versions for hands and brake and clutch levers. Replaceable hand shells add protection from weather, stone chips, and the loads encountered away from paved roads. Lever guards provide additional protection around the handlebar controls.
In addition to the main protection systems, more protection parts are available for headlights, brake pumps, brake fluid reservoirs, engine covers, cylinders, and other components.
