Motorcycle handguards are far more than a visual accessory – they are an important protection component for riders. Hands and levers are constantly exposed to weather, dirt, and unexpected hazards. High-quality motorcycle handguards form a reliable barrier. They shield against wind, rain, and cold, improve comfort over long distances, and provide effective protection from stones, branches, and other obstacles off-road.
A stable aluminum bar forms the base and is adapted to the shape of the motorcycle handlebar. Depending on the intended use, slimmer Sport and more rugged Adventure versions with impact-resistant plastic shells are available. Extensions increase the covered area when required, while bike-specific mounts integrate the system into the handlebar.
KOBRA kits combine bars with replaceable plastic shells and are available with one- or two-point mounting. Optional LED indicators or larger extensions can be added. BBSTORM uses Moplen plastic hand shells on closed aluminum bars. Barkbusters is a modular system ranging from compact EGO protectors to adjustable shells with increased wind protection.
For more compact protection directly at the lever, lever guards are available. On touring and off-road motorcycles, handguards can be combined with crash bars.
