PRO Side carrier

Even more robust and ready for adventure - but still removable: with the introduction of the first removable carrier for motorcycle cases, we've made our mark on the accessories market, the PRO side carrier is the new generation. Offroad fans will be impressed. The bike-specific PRO side carrier made of 2.5 mm-thick steel is extremely durable. The PRO side carrier offers side cases from SW-MOTECH, Givi/Kappa, Hepco & Becker, Krauser and Shad as well as the Sysbags (SysBag 15, 30, WP L) a secure fit - the matching adapter kits are sold separately. The PRO side carrier's numerous functional drill holes enable the mounting of RotopaX canisters and other accessories.

We continue to use our trusted and popular QUICK-LOCK fasteners, which were also revised during redevelopment. As usual, the quick-release fasteners can be loosened by a quarter turn with a flat-head screwdriver or our multitool. The carrier can be removed completely in no time and all that remains on the bike are unimposing attachments. For permanently mounting the PRO side carrier on your bike, we now offer a redesigned quick-release fastener. A special mounting kit is no longer required, but the PRO side carrier can now be screwed tightly with cheaper, standard parts (M8). An appropriate screw kit (M8) is available separately from us.

Ich war mit meiner 1290 SAS 3 Monate mit diesem Adventure Kofferset unterwegs. Überwiegend war ich sehr überzeugt. Alles lässt sich sicher absperren und schnell abnehmen. Das Material ist hochwertig und schaut gut aus. Zudem ist es zu 100 % Wasserdicht. Den einzigen Kritikpunkt den ich zu bemängeln hatte, ist dass der Kofferträger an zwei der vier Punkte nicht durch die Schnellverschlussschrauben sondern Art Hacken nur eingehackt wird Ganz gut sichtbar auf Bild vier . Mir ist das Motorrad bei der Reise auch das ein oder andere mal im Geländer umgekippt. Die Hacken haben dem Druck beim Umkippen nicht standgehalten sondern sind verbogen und somit konnten sie anschließend nichtmehr eingehackt werden. Bei den meisten Motorrädern habt ihr 4 Schnellschraubverschlüsse zu Befestigung gewählt. Diese würden dem Druck der durch ein Umkippen auf die Kofferträger wirkt standhalten und nicht gleich verbiegen. Ich habe schon viele Bilder gesehen wo Motorräder mit eurem Kofferset seitlich umgekippt lagen da war das kein Problem . Wenn ihr diesen Mängel behebt wäre ich zu 100% mit dem Kofferset zu frieden. Solang dieser Mangel besteht kann ein einfaches umkippen im Zweifel schon deine Reise beenden weil der Kofferträger nur noch an zwei der 4 Schrauben befestigt ist. Deshalb ändert das bitte auf 4 Schnellschraubverschlüsse, so wie ihr das bei fast allen Modellen gemacht habt Beispielsweise durch eine Leiste wo die Schrauben greifen wie bei der Yamaha Tenere, oder der KTM 790/890 Adventure, etc...
